About AshleyL

Born & raised in New York City, Ashley is not just your average hairstylist. She lives & breaths fashion as well. Making people look and feel beautiful inside and out has been her passion since the age of 16. "Think big, dream big" is one of her favorite mottos.

 At the age of 16, Ashley began her career as an assistant in a salon in Queens on the weekends, while attending high school. After high school, she decided to try college and major in business administration. During her first semester she realized college wasn't the way she wanted to go. She further pursued her career as a hairstylist, attending Aveda Institute New York.

 After graduating from Aveda Institute in 2012 with a New York state cosmetology license, Ashley worked as an assistant to celebrity hairstylist Vincent Roppatte. Vincent worked with many celebrities, giving her the opportunity to build her clientele & work with them as well. 

Unfortunately, Vincent passed away in 2016, giving Ashley the opportunity to service some of his clients & build a career as a celebrity hairstylist.

Ashley is currently a Local 798 union member and has worked with celebrities such as Diane Sawyer, Gwyneth Paltrow, Deborah Roberts, Cynthia Germanotta, Lorraine Schwartz, Rosemary Bravo,  Entrepreneur Lynn Forester de Rothschild, and the list goes on. Ashley specializes in color, hair extensions, red carpet looks, and cuts currently at The Salon Project located at Saks Fifth Ave.
